Undersecretary of Economic Coordination



He holds a Degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires, and a Master’s degree in Economics and Public Policy from Torcuato Di Tella University


He is a national and international graduate and postgraduate university teacher in the field of Public Finance and Public Sector management.


Before that, he served as Director of Public spending and social programs at the federal Ministry of Economy for 12 years. Prior to that, he worked as Technical Coordinator at the same office for 3 years.
He was also the Regional Director of the Financial and Technical Cooperation Project between the European Union and MERCOSUR “Macroeconomic Monitoring Support” and National Coordinator of MERCOSUR Macroeconomic Monitoring Group.

In addition, he has been a finance and public policy consultant  for several national and international  Organisms, Governments y and Nongovernmental Organizations; Senior researcher of the Social Protection Programs and Fiscal Policy for the Center of Implementation of Public Policies for Equity and Growth and Associate Economist for EMPIRIA Consultores.


He is author of several publications about public spending evolution and characterization, analysis and impact of public policies and macroeconomic statistics, public finance assessment, budget and planning, social protection and public policy impact. He has also been an intern for the government of the Republic of France.

In addition, in 2003 he was awarded the Fulvio Salvador Pagani Prize by ARCOR Foundation for his work Social Public Spending in Argentina: Outlook and Diagnosis.
