Juan Sanguinetti holds a degree in Economics from the National University of La Plata and Master’s degree in Economics under the Postgraduate Program for Training and Research on Public Policy granted by the Torcuato Di Tella Institute and the Inter-American Development Bank.

For the last 15 years he has worked as a World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank consultant for the formulation and assessment of investment projects, working in Argentina and several countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. He is also a member of the Department of Strategic Thinking for the Argentine Construction Chamber.

As regards public administration, he has served as Provincial Director of Debt and Public Credit for the Ministry of Economy of the Province of Buenos Aires and Chief of Advisors of the Ministry of Economic Planning for the Ministry of Economy of Argentina and Coordinator of the Economic Dimension of the Strategic Planning Council of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
